As it says in the title

I can't seem to find a seat position where the seat belt doesn't cut into the side of my neck - and they are not height adjustable :grumpy:

It's driving me mad

Does anyone else have this problem ?

PS before anyone asks, I'm not Jabba the Hut !

Can’t believe it, I was thinking the same thing today & yes it is a pain in the neck.
I’ve tried the seat high, low, back & forward just cant seem to get it right.

Don't know if anyone else has issues with this or came up with a solution?

I really need to find the right set up for the seat and seat belt to stop the seat belt riding up towards my neck.

Anyone???

Cheers

I've never felt that the seatbelt cuts into my neck "/
Mind you, I always forget to wear it... Whoops.

Surely the seatbelt 'alarm' will be chiming constantly? :?

What? The Roc does not have an adjustable belt mount on the B pillar like the Golf (not got mine yet)? - that sounds unbelievable for a modern car - and not exactly a cheap one either....

Lol...nice.. I aint that small, 5'10"

Think it's just getting the right seating position, on my old Leon Cupra it was adjustable, who knows maybe I had it sitting too low..

It's not actually touching my neck, just feels like its not in the right spot.

I going try setting the seat and steering up again from scratch.

It was obviously meant as a joke. They should have cardboard cut outs in dealers saying "You need to be as tall as me to drive a Scirocco"

It's the first car I've had for years that it's not adjustable and don't know the reason why. It's even adjustable on the base model Polo.

I'm 5' 8" and have the seat in the lowest position and don't have a problem.

Lol... I know mate...

I know what you mean though, it's a bit weird that its not adjustable.

It might just take a bit of getting used to.

Although I have read that you should be able to rest your wrists on the top of the steering wheel with your back against the seat. I find that this puts my feet way too close to the pedals, even with the steering wheel extended towards me.

As I said it will just be a case of finding that sweet spot.

Not ideal, but a seatbelt retaining clip that that stops the seatbelt retracting back might give you enough slack to do the trick.

Try one of these attractive genuine sheepskin seatbelt covers.
