hello guys
the car was ordered on the 28th AUG and ive was initially told the car would be delivered in the first 2 weeks of november.I took delivery of my CW 2.0 GT TSI on the 30th and the only hiccup was the sports pedals were missing. The dealer told me they are normally a dealer fit option... they i got them by the following tuesday anyway and incase there is a problem with the accelrator pedal i still have the original. only thing is im waiting for the special tool to arrive. since i was ordering bits i ordered a set of scirocco sill/ kick plates too

as instructed the car was delivered as it was from factory. every bit of protective film was left on the car. all stickers intacts the the number plates left in the windscreed. i did not want the plates screwed into my bumbers

here she is

im waiting for some good weather so i can go over the car with a PC and detail the car properely but im glad the dealer never touched it. i did not want some dealer detailer wiping his dirty gritted cloth across my car. needless to say the car is swirl free ! ! ! !

some further pictures

after 2 weeks ownership ive

Fitted the alloy pedals and it was far easier buying the special tool
purchased some premium sills
changed the side lights to LED
changed the DRL's

not had a chance to polish the car using PC and the weather is pretty shitty right now and i cant do it inside
the car has been sealed with poorboys EXP and had 2 coats of collinite 476 wax. gonna build up the layers of wax but already the car is beading very very well

if anyone still guessing about roof lining that may come with their car mine is black

overall impressions... the car is great. get lots of attention. im still trying to run in the engine but its nice to have midrange torque comapred to my integra type R. full on driving wise ill make up my mind when its run in but i gotta feeling as a drivers car its not as good as the integra but as a everday car the roc is such a nicer car to be in.... must be getting old :vibes:

But build wise its impossible to compare the honda to vw. i thought my gf 2005 mini cooper was solid. the vw feels like a tank. so well built and solid feeling

still to do when i have funds

revo
lower
and new wheels

Went for the single LED as i did not want them too bright.

poorboys is awesome. I normally use R222 or p21s as i still call it. ive read lots of good things about collinite 476 and i find it great and very long lasting

another hiccup ive just noticed my car has not got eletric adjustable seats. Gonna call the dealer tomorrow to see what they can do
