Sloshing fuel tank

Post by monkeyboy76 »

Hi everybody,

Took delivery of the scirocco last weekend, and last night filled her up to the first click. Now when the radio is off I can here a very distinct sloshing should coming from the tank.

Anyone else out there here this? Is this normal?

I’ve never noticed this myself.

I thought that the internal baffles in the tank would reduce the fuel sloshing around to large degree and what there is would be less than the engine / road noise.

But I have a drive around the next time I fill up and listen out for it.
