Sonus car care products

Post by Richard99 »

Hi all. Just wondered what people think to the sonus range of car care products. Haven't even got my new roc yet but already planning a marathon cleaning session when it arrives- rinse, wash, clay, polish, seal and wax the paintwork alone. Like the idea of using a single brand where possible to ensure all products are truly working in harmony- sonus appear to sell everything needed. Can people let me know what they think please. Any users of sonus products?

Many thanks

Haven't used it myself but it is one brand that I keep meaning to try out. I keep hearing good things about it.

Hi Richard99,

Sonus is a good range of products, but we've found from our own experience that generally you can mix and match products from different ranges without any issues, and in some cases we've found that certain products work better with certain products from different manufacturers, rather than their own.

For instance, by far the best range of products we've come across is Lusso, which includes a shampoo, a pre-wax cleanser (the revitalizing creme) a carnauba wax and a glass polish. As they only do the four products, when looking to do a complete overhaul you have to include products from other ranges.

We find that a very fine clay works best on new cars, as generally there isn't too much that needs to be removed, unless the car has been stored outside next to a railway or underneath loads of sap-producing trees! Something like an ultra-fine orange clay would be a good option.

Hope this helps

Taryn and Jim :)
