Build week 40...

My car is due to be built next week. What can I expect from now on?
Does the dealer confirm the build and give an accurate delivery date or is it just wait and see?

mine was built in wk 38, last week, and i got an update from the dealer, via email, yesterday that the car is on ship (?), when i emailed back today to ask what this means in terms of delivery, i was told the week after next! hope this helps. will let you know how accurate this all becomes.

Wouldn't hold your breath.
Mine was built two weeks ago and is still awaiting shipment, apparently. Original delivery date should have been 7th September, that got moved. Then after agreeing a delivery date of 28th September I got a message from the leasing company on Friday to say that the dealer has knocked delivery back to end of October.
Not happy. Come on VW, pull your bloody finger out!
