What do you listen to when your are driving along .........the open roads :), stuck in a traffic jam  , caught up in road works :fall:, dawdling behind a 'sunday' driver :grumpy: , 3am racing down the motorway :eyepop:, or just chillin :vibes:, to name but a few ......

My top 3 would have to be:

Nirvana - Smells like Teen spirit
Foo Fighters -Pretender
QOTSA - No one knows

For putting pedal to the metal

:D

Wow this is a tough one i mean i cant just pick one artist or only 3 tracks but here goes:
-Anything by cypress Hill. (while cruising)
-Deadmau5 (while going up to the mountains)
-Trentemoller/Booka Shade (while stuck in traffic)
-Pan-Pot (just like lstn to the song charly)
I mostly like listning to house music as you can tell, but i wont mind any r&b or dubstep once in a while.
BTW forgot to say for racing it has to be ace of spades by Motorhead

Varies alot :L

Motorways / Long Cruises then can't beat a bit of Trance or Vocal Trance such as Ferry Corsten, Tiesto etc
Just Chilling then probably some R&B like Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz etc etc
For some pedal to the metal, anything hard and fast haha  Headhunters, Dj Merlin, The Prodigy, Deepack etc etc

I don't have any particular songs, I listen to alot of stuff just as much as each other haha.

For long journeys - The Who, Quadrophenia, the remastered original double album from about 1970 before they made the film
or Green Day, American Idiot, a stonking album if you listen to it in order

The rest of the time it could be anything from Punk, to Northern Soul to Heavy Metal to Reggae or just plain old pop music, depends on my mood :)

My new fad is to stick on my 80/90's old school playlist, bit of Toto, Spandau Ballet, Nena, Aha...anything cheesy, happy and worth singing along to. When my Scirocco arrives I will get double the looks for driving a nice car and bobbing along in the driving seat to La Bamba.

It all depends on what you have in your multi changer Nasher,
But If I'm driving Kermit on my own it'll normally be the Foos or Nirvana.. Mind you the new pink album is pretty good.. Nasher sometimes has Abba in ther as well :faint: .. (hate to admit I quite enjoy it tho...)

Also I love Metallica.. it makes me drive fast... :eyepop: (that one is always in my ed30 tho, Nash wont give it house room... )

Allsorts.
I've got a very eclectic selection of music.
Bit of classical, some TV themes I like, rock, pop, rap, swing, cheese, dance, current stuff, old stuff, all sorts. That's what playlists are for :D If it was in the charts in the 80s I've probably got it.

For short journeys I mostly just have the radio on but I flick over to stuff I like on the USB stick if I'm not bothered in the DJ or the music.

For longer journeys I put comedy shows on (Billy Connolly, Alan Partridge etc), podcasts and a few playlists.

Crappy 80s pop that everyone thinks is rubbish but which is actually so bad it's good. :D
Stuff like Rick Astley, A-Ha, It Bites (That's classic!), Go West, Spandau Ballet. Can't beat a good bit of cheese.

Like it or not, the problem is it's a bit embarrassing, so you have to keep the windows up.

Like Kev I have a very varied selection of music.

As far as driving tunes go though, if it's a leisurely drive then I'd probably go for some ZZ Top, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd type stuff.

If it's a bit more of a spirited drive, then I'd go with Deacon on the new Prodigy album (or some of the old ones) or perhaps something like Linkin Park.

But if it's a sunny day and I'm just driving around town, then I'd go for something a little more pimpesque and stick on a pair of oversized aviators so that my face is unidentifiable!
