Basically they are a bit like a dash mounted Vag-Com. They show a lot of diagnostic information graphically and in real time. They can also be used to log telemetry data and clear common fault codes.
I originally searched these out as I don't like the idea of guages as you can never really get them to look very OEM. The Dashdaq has a completley customisable graphical display and page layout is so you can get it too look identical to the the rev counter and speedo.

The Vi-Monitor was recently advertising in mags like Fast Car.
It look very sleek and Tom Tome-esque however has less compatibility for showing data (i don't think it can show boost pressure... :thumbdown: ) and isn't graphically customisable. That said it does look pretty sweet and is readily available in the UK!
Anyways was basically wondering what you all think and wether or not these things are worth bothering with.
They are both roughly about the same price of £300-350 (Graham Goode in Leicester import the Dashdaq) so not cheap!!! Still, was thinking of getting a Dashdaq and giving it a go
