Need help please, doing gearbox swap from LHY to MCB, having trouble now with the gear selector cable and its mounting is different..the mcb gearbox itself is perfect fit but the shift cables and mounting is giving me a tough time. Any body who has done and solved this problem?

Gearbox came from a vw golf 2010 1.4 tsi with caxa engine code thought it would just be a straight install but now becoming a nightmare for me

Assuming the gearbox is compatible, you’d need the cable linkage bracket to fit the replacement gearbox.
I’m not sure your troubles will end there though. Is there a reason why you changed it? I’m assuming they will most likely have different ratios as well.
