Had engine waring light but that was a faulty manifold. Which was changed. Garage put on a test Coil pack to see if that's the issue. But car is stuttering from cold start. Could it be dirty injectors. Car is going back to the garage on Monday. Any ideas will be helpful. I have 2008 GT.

Hi, I've had this issue with my 2011 GT for on/off about 2 years.
EML codes have said various things when garage checked - manifold, intake too rich etc, fuel bank system too rich, air intake system leak - it's maybe been to the garage 4/5 times with EML and garage either fix it and clear the code e.g. clear injectors, test for leaks and no leaks found, but whatever they try it does it again not long after... Did you get anywhere with yours? They just keep telling me to bring it in when EML comes on and they'll see but nothing is getting to the root of it and meanwhile i'm charged diagnostics each time - one time they said it was that the dipstick wasn't secure and letting in air which fixed it but it started up stuttering a few weeks later and dipstick was secure?! it's a bit maddening - hope you get your sorted.

If the issue only happens when the engine is cold, its worth checking / replacing the coolant temp sensor (ECT).

I did get the car fixed. Took it to an independent VW specialist. The manifold was meant to be 2nd hand. Turned out it was a poor quality aftermarket. Got a Gen VW manifold and also a walnut clean of valves and ports. Car runs like brand new now. Expensive lesson learned. Local garage for standard service only.
Are you taking your car to VW garage or an independent VW specialist.
