Classic VW Electrical Gremlins

Not sure why I thought it would be too different to my last VAG car (mk4 Golf), but after two weeks of ownership and three short trips out, the Rocco is complaining at me from all corners of the electrical gamut.
I’ve recently had the EPC light come of for throttle position sensor (intermittent) and today I had a flashing suspension button on the centre console (remedied by stopping and starting again).
I have her going in for the ABS recall work next week at my local VW service centre, so may ask them to check the software as I suspect its a long time since it was [if ever] updated
