Hey Guys,

Looking at a 2.0 TSI with 140,000 miles. It has a great history and so does the DSG 'box. Anything else I need to consider? Pickup pipe? Cam followers?

Anyone?

Hello, from what I have seen and read I would change the cam follower, pickup pipe and also check that the tensioner / chain have been changed, horror stories if that breaks !!

Tensioner/chain change even on the 2.0? I know the 1.4 has these.

Hello, yes because the early ones had a problem with the tensioner, well worth getting it checked and / or seeing if the work has been done already, will save a BIG bill !!
