Updated Inlet Manifold (2.0 TSI)

Post by Halil42 »

Hi guys it looks like my inlet manifold is failing which seems to be a common problem. I understand that I need to replace it with the updated version (06J133201BH).

Does anybody know a good place I can actually get this part in the UK for a good price? Everything i find on ebay seems to just be "compatible" with this number but no evidence that it is the actual part I need.
Any help will be much appreciated.

You might get lucky if you contact your local VW Trade Part Supplies outlet. Yes, I realise you need to be "trade" but some places will sell parts to anyone - you won't know until you ask. Apparently some of these are open for business on a collection-only basis rather than delivery to site. You order and pay for the part, they get it and arrange to put it on the pavement outside while you drive and load it. I have not done this myself, it is only what i have heard from a garage/ bodyshop.

Hope that helps a bit?
