Folding mirrors not working

Hi folks
Found out that I have folding mirrors on my recent purchased scirocco, but don't seem to be working, when switching to the fold symbol on the drivers door. What do you suggest I check to get them working. Many thanks in advance.

I also have this symbol on my drivers door but it doesn't work.

I think maybe the symbol is there but it was an optional extra for the electronic part to be added to them?

Hi there. I did think the same, or maybe a previous owner, had installed the wrong switch. But looking through my owners manual, it's says it has folding mirrors. Took it to vw and the sales guy said it could be a module problem.

If you have the electric folding mirror option you will also have the "puddle lights" on the botton of the mirror housing.
