Hi! i bought a new complete kit on ebay with DRL LEDs and grills, it's not original, but is almost the same quality ABS plastic; you have to spent minimum 400€
p.s. how run you car with REVO? i'm preparing the car for stage2 and i'm thinking to go with REVO software....

Thank you, maybe can u share the name of the seller? Just wanna make sure i will order from the right guy on ebay.
@ Revo tune: i strongly recommend them, possibly the best software for the TSI engine, unless you can find a specialist (like R-tech based in the uk). I have a 1.4 twincharged TSI wich is known for a lot of problems and i am running 233 hp on a stage 1+ tune! So you can imagine how worried i was . But i can tell you absolutey no problem since i have it (~2 years now), totally transformed my car! On you engine will make woders too! I recommend a good cold air intake for a stage 1 for some extra horsepower!
Cheers,
SKGR

Hi Alex,Alien_IROC wrote:Thanks for the comments! The gear knob is from Audi TTS. Is a perfect combination with the look of the steering wheel with the 3 holes.
@cristispd yeah i'm not so convinced about carbon fiber on center console, i like it but not 100%

I've just sent you a PM regarding your advice for the Audit TTs gear knob fitting. I have just bought one and would appreciate your tips for a proper fitting.
Thank you!

Hi, i will check the message, but as i said, you need to cut the OEM lever of about 7/8 cm (centimeters) and after using a metal clamp to hold the knob.
Also as you can see in the picture, i used the Audi leather because VW leather really sucks and can't adapt to the new heigh of the knob.

But, the lever can be dismounted, right? A metal clamp you mean something like this?Alien_IROC wrote:Hi, i will check the message, but as i said, you need to cut the OEM lever of about 7/8 cm (centimeters) and after using a metal clamp to hold the knob.

And finally, did you stapple the audi leather to the vw frame?

The lever is difficul to dismount, so i covered all the area and cutteted inside the car with a metal saw!
Yes this type of metal clamp is perfect.
And yes, i disassembled the VW frame, removed leather and stappled the Audi leather. You can recycle the original metal clip that retain the leather and place in the same holes.

Mmmh yeah they are a little bit pricey.
I love how they look like an pre facelift R8 though
Did you do any brake work? Also what tyres are you running? I'm currently looking for a new set on my 2.0 TSI, will take it to the Nurburgring this summer

Re: MY Viper Green Scirocco 2.0 TSI from Italy < IROC projec
For now i have to disable the R8 style LEDs because the LED's ECU was defective, but i will repair it....
I you watch the first page you can see my brake setup, is the minimum if you want stop the 2.0 TSI!
For daily drive i have Hankook V12 EVO and they are the top for me, i think the best i ever tryed!
In the track wheels i have old tyres, front Continental sportcontac3 and rear michelin PS3, they aren't trackday tyres, but they do the job very good!
If you have good budget and you want to buy a trackday set of tyres, i can suggest to look for a semiclick setup, here you can find some street legal models:
https://trackdays.ie/track-day-tyres/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The best size for race with Scirocco are 18" wheels

Re: MY Viper Green Scirocco 2.0 TSI from Italy < IROC projec
OMG!!!! Thank you very much, i really need to know where the IROC is located! And I really want to see it in real life! I can take holiday for August and visit Wolfsburg!
Thanks for the pictures, i really appreciate it! I'm surprised to see Beetle wheels on IROC! They probably had some problems, perhaps a pothole!
I really need to find the original IROC wheels, i want a set for my winter tyres!
Exactly in these day, i thinking about doing or not the black roof like the IROC....i still have some doubt.
I've also made a new mod...when i have time i will take some pictures.

The Scirocco exibition is in Wolfsburg Automuseum, not Autostadt. The Exibition is until 18.8. 2019

Re: MY Viper Green Scirocco 2.0 TSI from Italy < IROC projec
I'm working on a racing look splitter, i always liked to try this look, because i also really like to go to track and want to do a more track style look.
I still working secretly on IROC front and rear bumper, and also the headlights, but this project need a loooooooot of time, so i think that probably next year i can show somethings.....i hope.
This is another mod of last days, new detail ispired from the IROC center console. (bad quality cell phone picture)
