Reversing sensors

If one of the sensors fails will it completly stop the rest?
Can an individual sensor be changed or do i have to buy all 4?

I've seen an intermittent fault (water ingress) on one sensor on VCDS. As it wasn't permanent I don't know whether it affected the operation of the whole system. I just did a quick search and found the sensors for sale individually, so you may be in luck.

I have a problem with my sensors, I put it in reverse, get a long beep and error message and they don't work.
