At long last, my TDI 170 coming Monday!

Ordered week 21 soon after 170 announced, (I test drove a 140, but decided I needed a bit more power. I'll let you know how the 170 compares...
) then given build week 28.
It's been agony watching everyone else on here take delivery of theirs but at last the waiting is nearly over...
Dealer says both media cables are there.
I feel like a kid again waiting for Christmas! 3 more sleeps....

Mines at 38 sleeps to go, i feel as though i've been waiting a lifetime for it, i heard someone saying that any roc that are ordered now won't be here till 2010 LOOONNNGGG that would be a 5 1/2 month wait
but hopefully that means a few people will be detered so that we can keep it as a niche vehicle

By the way, what's the recommendation for "running in" a TDI? How many miles before I can put my foot down?

Once you've cleared the pavement outside the dealers you'll be OK........

Wow, got it this morning at 8am! Arrived at work and it was sat in the car park, the delivery guy had other calls to make today so it was already off the trailer and ready to go.
Shame about the weather, took it out for a quick spin to make sure it was a 170 and not a 140 - and it's a 170 alright
First impressions are that it's simply stunning to drive.
Now roll on 5pm so I can take it home!
No piccys yet due to crap weather.
Enjoyed changing status from "I ordered a" to "I drive a".

is the difference between the 140 and 170 really that noticable?
