Clutch going?

I think I already know the answer but when I'm setting off from a stand still I'm getting a loud squeak which stop once I'm moving. Is this the clutch going?
I also have a bit vibration in the clutch pedal.
The garage should pay for it like because I only bought the car on Monday, just checking so I can let them know.
This is on a 2.0 tsi if that makes a difference.

Just type in clutch squeal in the search and all your questions will be answered. Common one this for scirocco.

I had this a while ago, the noise is often the release bearing (central slave cylinder) wearing out. The dual mass flywheel will more than likely have too much play as did mine which may cause issues also. You may aswell get it changed [emoji106]

I've got the same issue. How much did it cost you for the repair?

I bought the Sachs Performance clutch kit direct from Sachs in Germany (friction plate and cover) for around £400 and something I think (or euros). Sachs dual mass flywheel from Euro Car Parts (£300) and new central slave cylinder (release bearing) from VW (about £70).
Labour was cheap as I fitted it with my mates in their garage haha. We used a sort of step by step guide from a vw golf forum (i think mk5 or 6).
