How long have you owned your Scirocco?

Hi!
I have had my scirocco 160 since new in 2009. In 2010 I hade a remap by revo stage1. I have 120000 km on the meter. At 100000 I hade the chain replaced due to stretching. I hade it replaced in time so now failure or anything.
Other than the chain issuue I am very pleased withe the car especially the performance considering the small Engine.
I am interessted in hearing what your experiences are with the car?
Anyone know how many km or have an opinion on the Engine in terms of how long it can run before major problems show up. (the small Engine in mind)
I am interssted in hearing anything that you have experienced.

I've had mine for 80k and over 3 years.
No issues not caused by extensive tuning :-)

Owned mine from new in 2009 also. Only covered 29K miles in that time!

I had my 2.0TSi from March '09 to Nov '16 and covered 60k miles. No problems especially. Just a couple of little niggles with a passenger air bag sensor and the petrol flap release died. Apart from that it was just money on tyres and petrol

Got mine 3 months ago only did 1.4k km's yet (870miles). Got a total of 65k km's (40k miles) now. I'm a maniac and only drive it in nice dry weather. Will probably sit 2 months still since winter is coming..

Had my GT170 new from March 2010.
Got it remapped Revo stage 1 at 60k, still going strong at 267k.
On the lookout for something new but no rush as has done nothing wrong.

Yes, it is exceptionally low for an 09, but we do have a 2nd car as well, so the mileage gets shared between them.

2 year old (and a few days) flash red Scirocco 1.4. Grand total of 4800 miles.

Mine is from Feb 2010 , from brand new and done just over 70k miles. No modification at all to the engine and everything is still factory standard.
The only issue i am fearing of , is the timing chain problem that affects all 1.4Tsi engines. I have done some research and its scary...
About 2 year ago I had my waterpump changed, so I hope that had helped with the chain. I have also taken out an extended warranty just in case.
Other problem was the DSG several years ago, when the software had gone stupid and only odd number gears were selectable.
Had it reset and I had to pay myself as it was out of warranty by a few months.
To be very honest, i listen out for every strange noise coming from the engine and saved some money for the day the engine goes bang!

Just over 2 months so far.
MY2015 got it on 24k miles, done about 3k so far.
