Tyre pressure
I was wondering what the best pressure for my tyres would be and the info in the fuel cap gives two pressures if the car is holding 2 people, but I'm not sure which one of the top two is needed. I done 36 PSI in the end.
Any ideas?
Yes I forgot to clean inside the fuel cap, don't judge me..

Re: Tyre pressure
I don't see it in the manual. Maybe its a different size tire or winter tyres?

Re: Tyre pressure
The manual says to check the fuel cap.. but it gives two pressures for having two people in the car.. it's not very clear!

Re: Tyre pressure
I think it's for winter tyres.

Re: Tyre pressure
Is the second one maybe the comfort setting? i.e. you'll get a more comfortable ride but I'm guessing that the outside edges of the tyres will wear faster due to having less air in them

Re: Tyre pressure
Not sure. The second one has the little handbook with the information symbol, perhaps the manual explains the second pressure.. haven't had time to check it yet though

Re: Tyre pressure
That sticker is hopeless, what where they thinking.
Based on my sticker (2009 2.0TSI) first row is winter tyres, 2nd and 3rd row are regular tyres. A 2.0 on 18s is 33psi all round.

Re: Tyre pressure
I've got a different sticker on mine that is much clearer. It lists the various OEM tyre sizes and gives the corresponding pressures for each
I run my 235/35x19 at 35psi.
