Can anyone help, I went to start my 09 Scirocco (2.0 tsi) if that makes any difference, and at first I noticed an error say "Airbag fault"
Then I went to start the car and I just get 3 beeps and a repeating clicking sound and dashboard lights flickering when the key is turned in the ignition, so the car wont start
Ive waited half hour to see if that helped and I am getting the same issue
The windows dont work either so I cant put them up!
Does any one know what this is???

Another vote for a flat battery.

Cheers guys, are you suggesting that I need to charge the battery, or do I need to buy a new one?

Charge it first to confirm that's the issue but if you're battery is over 5 years old then I would consider buying a new one.

I agree with CupraBob, charge it first and see if it's holding charge.
Did you leave the lights on or anything, that you know of? It's unusual for a battery to drain unless it's faulty. Either way, charging it is a start then you can rule that out , but hopefully it's just a flat battery.

They should reset once you have driven it down the road and back, but if your battery should be replaced if it cant keep the charge.

If it's the steering and ESP light that are on, they will go off once the car is driven and the steering angle sensor is recalibrated.
Before the car started was it turning over fast or slow? Low voltage on modern cars can cause a few issues / warnings.

Ok, ive taken it for a drive, and it is the ABS/Traction/Handbrake lights that are flashing along with the constant beeping
And its still flashing and beeping!

Get an OBD2 reader from ebay and see what codes it comes back with.
I've got this one:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Car ... SwU-pXss5U" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Then check the codes here:
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... ault_Codes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
That'll tell you what you're up against, if you're confident that it's not going to cause major damage you can clear the codes with the reader.
