*Woooow* *Ahhhh* Another new arrival. As long as i anticipated this i have finally, surprise surprise got my shiny (used) Volkswagen Scirocco 1.4 TSI 122ps in rising blue. As much as i dawned upon getting the 140 'twin charged' my insurence would be higher than kites. But with this its still a cheap *echem* ish insurance plan of just shy of 2k  ... But im 18 wanting to start now and the 122 is still to me, good enough. So here we go on the slowest project but im glad to own one.

Welcome to the flock. We do love Sciroccos here.
Ah yes, the start of earning insurance bonus. I paid about the same back in 02 for a 94 Audi S4. Now i don't know, my wife takes care of the boring car stuff.

If you have monies left after the insurance payments you will find many idea here on how to modify your car.

Yeah man, it's an expensive luxury especially if on an apprenticeship wage. Yeah Astra is where it's at ;) But I've got it for 4 years with a long list on stuff to do haha

But as you have probably noticed, there is a dent in the nearside quarter.. Yeahh in September in a car park going to a local restaurant, while i was stationary i lady decided to reverse out of her bay without looking and hit my car :( . Being my first 'collision' the lady was 100% sure it was her fault, but funnily enough changed opinion going through insurance. Stilll going through it, didn't realize how much of a long winded process it is. But hey ho.. Here are some depressing pictures of what it looks like. But i did get the dent pulled out a was really impressed on the work the body shop done. LUCKILY she didn't damage my brand new alloys.

For the standard turbo engine.. It goes! Feels like it’s boosts twice. Little difference in the HP, hope for more but the torque increase is insane and makes a hell of a difference thanks to A1 BHP in Broadstairs.

How did you get on with the insurance? I always had the understanding that the person who's reversing is the first to be blamed

Just over a week ago I got a letter saying that the woman and the insurance company haven’t paid or even defended their case in over 3 months so they raised it to solicitors. A few days ago I got a call from them saying that the insurance paid in full the damage and it went down as her fault. So I guess they pooped themselves once it raised to solicitors. So happy days that’s off my shoulder. Glad I didn’t get a claim especially for what I’m paying at the moment. :)
