I pick up my roc on Friday (Damn I'm counting the Minutes!!), As a precautionary thing, I wanted to keep something in the car to use on Bird Poop when it appears, any ideas what to use.

I was going to buy an empty spray bottle and fill with fairy liquid and water, however any ideas would be appreciative..

And for the leather, can I use the same leather wipes I use for my sofa, sorry if these are stupid questions just want to look after me roc..

Detailing fluid (not sure if that's the correct term) such as swissvax quick finish (amazing stuff) and a cotton towel or microfibre cloth. There's loads of others on the market though. It's basically a lubricant you can use to wipe stuff off the car between washes without scratching the paint.

I use leather wipes for the sofa, these ones smell of almonds though. Seems fine, it's leather so yeah, go for it.

Fairly liquid is a pretty harsh detergant to be using on the car i think

Don't think so, i think it's quite harsh. Might be OK though but a car shampoo would be better. The little spray bottle of quick finish is amazing stuff, and will stop you scratching the paint, it's ideal for removing bird crap and stuff between washes.

i'm having issues with the dreaded bird poop on diamond black pearl (not the rising blue of the roc) so make sure you wipe it off, car needs a machine polish now, remember pigeons are evil

Autoglym make dedicated bird poo wipes. You can get them in Halfords.

As long as you have a decent layer of wax on the car, the uric acid in bird crap won't attack the bodywork. Then just wait until you get home, moisten the crap and get rid with any soft cloth.

Don't park under trees or telegraph poles - that'll minimise the risk in the first place.

Fairy liquid contains salt which isn't ideal for bodywork and metal on the car

One more tip; if it's dried on, thoroughly wet some paper kitchen towel, place it on top, and leave it for an hour. Then, lift off the towel and wash the paint. Works a treat.

Personally i'd just wash it off. Soak it first if dried on but i'd second the babywipes idea as they are ph neutral and are also amazing for other stuff such as cleaning polished rims and removing tar

I've never used a detailing spray but would be worried that you'd just be rubbing the dirt around on your car
