Fans running until battery flat

I have a 2010 2L petrol TFSI and when I stop the engine the fans will kick in (maybe not immediately) and both run at full speed until the battery is flat, any ideas? Help appreciated.

Sounds like a faulty fan control module.

You can also do an output test on the cooling fans with vcds. Test if they stay on with this test also. And perform a fault scan.
