Scirocco Central

Hi all,

I'm picking up my Scirocco tomorrow and I wanted to get some mats for it. I spoke to the guy at VW and he said that they'd discovered that mats from a MK5 golf will fit. They're £30 cheaper but obviously don't say 'Scirocco' on them.

Can anyone confirm that they definitely will fit?

My Scirocco mats fit my Dads MK5 Golf so I guess so!!

The rear mats are identical (part number the same) - there looks to be a little overlap at the back of the front mats, so they might curl up a little at the end which meets the seats. I kept the rears from my MK5 Golf and bought a new front set of Scirocco mats.

Mines got Golf Mk5 ones in the rear. As already stated the part number is exactly the same. When i picked mine up last year the dealer was told by VW uk Parts warehouse the Scirocco ones were out of stock ( same part number remember) But by clicking on the Golf pages and entering the same part number got them the next day...

Can't help with the MK5 question, but I wonder if you guys can help me? My Scirocco came with no mats and I've been browsing Ebay for some...you mentioned you could get some that say Scirocco on them...are they available at VW? If so, do you know how much they'll cost me for a full set?

Around £70 from you local unfriendly VW dealer I am afraid.
