I need to update my RCD 510. It´s on a 09-2009 model, and I fitted a 2015 OEM Bluetooth module.
I am having some issues with this Bluetooth upgrade.
I don´t have access to the phone book on the RCD 510, only on MFD PLUS.
On MFI, only have Bluetooth icon, the other two are squares.
VW say that the problem is the RCD, it's to old for the bluetooth module.
I'm searching for a more recent module, but now I find my self with witch is the more recent and compatible to the EU market.
On the web I find several layout's, for example, from left to right buttons position.
1º RADIO, MEDIA, PHONE, TIM, TP e SETUP.
2º RADIO, MEDIA, PHONE, DAB, TP e SETUP.
3º FM, AM, (icon don't know the meaning), MEDIA, PHONE, SETUP. I believe it's 5K0035190B
4º FM, AM, SAT, MEDIA, PHONE, SETUP. I believe its 1k0035180AF
5º FM, AM, SAT, MEDIA, MUTE, SETUP.
6º RADIO, MEDIA, ARROW Left., MUTE, SETUP, ARROW Right.
I wish to get the most recent model, and compatible with my car in Portugal.
Any suggestion.
