Hi guys,
I would like to buy one of this cars with diesel engine 2.0 tdi 140ps or 170ps (I would prefer this one) but what i would like to know first is:
Do they booth have DPF filter and if any of you with 140ps engine (or if any of you have any experience with new version 170 ps engine) have had any problems with DPF filter.

Both cars should come with DPF. They wil only give you problems if you constantly do short journeys. Surley the point of going diesel is for econemy therefor you would be doing long journeys.DPF can be managed though. If you do short journeys the engine ECU will try to carry out a re-gen for you. You recognise this by an increase of revs on tick over as the engine tries to increase the temperature for the DPF to break down the soot particles and turn them into ash.
