What colour...?

Having only seen two colours up close I'm finding it hard to pick the right colour. I test drove a rising blue, which was ok but I probably won't be going for that. The other I saw close(ish) up was the black. Now I've always liked black cars and owned two in the past which is why I'm not sure I want another one. The roc looks good in black but I think it looks even better in a brighter colour... Which brings me onto the red and candy white. I've had a red car before and loved it but I have only ever seen a red 'roc on internet images, never in person!
Does anybody have the red and have an comments good/bad? Anybody in the Cheshire/Merseyside area with the red that would be willing to meet up so I can see it up close?
I'm really tempted by the candy white (never had white before). I think it looks great but my girlfriend is dead against it...!
Really really unsure what to go for!

My last car was a Tornado red Golf, and I loved it.
I saw a Salsa Red Scirocco and I wasn't impressed - it seems a very dull shade of red, nowhere near as bright as Tornado Red. White is the non-metallic colour i'd go for. Each to their own, i'd try and see a Salsa Red one yourself to judge the shade and see if it is to your liking.

Reflex Silver
I think the car suits light colours, and silver always looks clean even when it's not

I have a look through the gallery chris, there is a good selection of pics on there to help you make your mind up, it certainly helped me decide.

You need a light colour to really show the Scirocco's curves. Black and Shadow Blue really hide the shape of the Scirocco. You dont get any front grille contrast with the dark colours either - the lighter colours really set off the black/grey grilles.

The Reflex Silver color is nice and suits the Rocco but my biggest concern (and many others') with it is that it is silver. Every second car on the street is silver which kind of spoils Rocco's image.
I would take a look at Opal Silver if I were you. It is still silver but in a different way. It looks awesome on daylight and it seems to be easy on dirt and mud.

I had originally set my mind on Black. I'd looked at Salsa red on the configurator but though it looked a bit dark. When I managed to arrange a test drive it turned out that the demonstrator was red(Bristol Volkswagen). As soon as I saw it I new what colour I was getting. And as a bonus, because red is a no cost option I decided to spec Dynaudio with the money I saved.

I saw a red 'roc for the first time yesterday. Looked great IMO...I really liked the shade (worked well with the rear light cluster). Not as many red cars about these days either so it really stood out. I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed in the choice.
I've seen most of the other colours now (bar sumatra) - and my other favourites would be white, rising blue and viper green (if you are feeling daring...)
