As the title suggests,
Just had the car out for a quick 15 minute drive whilst connected to my ODB scanner and 'OBD Auto Doctor'. Got back and checked results. Number of misfires on cylinders 1,2, and 4, are all 0. Absolutely nothing. Cylinder 3 had 1 single misfire. Just one, in 15 minutes of driving.
My question is, am i being pedantic and this is something that can naturally happen to a cars engine, or could it be a minute start of a major problem, considering the engine is a 1.4 (160)...
Spark plugs and oil changed 4 weeks ago on a Major service at 36000 miles.
Any help appreciated, Thanks in advance!
Is one single misfire normal?

Re: Is one single misfire normal?
Its normal on this engine's ECU - usually a misfire can sometimes be registered as you lift off the throttle. Misfire detection is supposed to be disabled when you lift off, but sometimes the ECU doesn't disable it fast enough and you can get a single misfire logged.
If you log the misifre detection active channel (cant remember which one it is off the top of my head), you will probably see the single misfire coincides at the same moment detection is disabled.
