Hey guys,
Just picked up my R on Monday from my local garage. Seems the previous owner has been on here as well so you're all aware of my car.
Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Also from Louth, so shes still local. Spent more than enough time in Shell already, and mapped last night. Many, many plans. Keep an eye open :)

Yeah, Im going on the 35mm H&Rs asap, revo intake, Concept one CSL 5.5's, carbon lip - diffuser and maybe skirt extentioins, then i'd say im happy! more than enough power in her now so all is good on that front, just a little noise and cosmetic!

you can get the right H&R's from carparts4less ebay account for £140, just got mine ordered. Also got the powerflex antilift kit for £89 on the carparts4less site.

I spent the day giving the car a good clean, and a wax. Looked spot on once I'd got round to it! Booking in Monday for the plate holes to be filled and printed as I run a much shorter one and can't stand the bezel. Looking good so far.
Next stage is springs!

So, I was looking at some wheels I wanted along with the H&R springs, but LK performance ended up not replying to my emails for 4 days so I ventured elsewhere.

I have now ordered a full 3" scorpion decat and non resonated cat back, Airtec stage 2 55mm front mount intercooler, pipercross panel filter and H&Rs.
Unfortunately this other company didn't stock the wheels I wanted so I went for the power!!!

My Re-remap is booked for the 14th October so I'm looking forward to seeing what she can produce with these supporting mods.

Long story short about my previous map; I had a generic map loaded from Quantum which quoted 360bhp and 440NM. High figures, I know! But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and had it put on. Not feeling like an 80hp increase I went to my local dyno and they came back with 287bhp and 440NM. How ever did this happen?!?
Turns out quantum aren't the tuners the claimed to be. [emoji23]

So let's see what we can get this time round!

Had a day of cleaning, polishing and waxing yesterday with my German WIP buddy, and we went and took a couple of photos of the stock motors prior to installing mods.

Very much looking forward to bringing down that arch gap!
All items should be with me by Friday and installed Saturday. Very exciting. Will update with more pictures when They're all on!

I had an update yesterday from Scorpion about my exhaust. Ive got it being sent out on the 17th Oct as it needs making. This has made me have to push back my map from the 14th to the 24th which is disappointing but still exciting non the less.

Regardless, springs and intercooler are going on tomorrow. Today I received a full SMD set of white LED's which i will also get in tomorrow.

Picture updates tomorrow

Didn't have time to mount springs today but tomorrow I'm back on the job.

55mm Airtec intercooler fitted, and what a job it turned out to be. Spoiling a little later than the stock cooler but not too much lag at all. Thinking about the possibility of a forge kit as well in the future to maximise air temp control.

More updates tomorrow when springs are on

Springs all fitted. Fronts were a pain but finally managed to get the strut free from the hub. All looking good and ready for the turbo back when it's delivered.
I think some hubcentric spacers will go a treat right now.

Let us know your feedback guys.

Looks great ;)
After springs will settle, ride height will go lower a little bit.
