REVO Remap Results

Post by oldboy »

Collecte my 2.0TSi from the phirm (http://www.thephirm.co.uk/) this afternoon complete with Revo remap.

The results are great. Power output using super unleaded is >260 bhp and torque increase is also great. Acceleration in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th is amazing and much smoother than my Golf MK5 GTi with Revo remap. Not yet tried 1st gear to full extent but easy to get to get rev limiter bounce very quickly. Put your foot down and other cars disappear in the rear view mirror. Not yet sure on fuel consumption, but my Golf remained as standard, once I stopped having a silly grin on my face from playing with the new found power.

The guys at The Phirm did the remap in a quarter of an hour and were all very friendly, being car nuts in their own right.

My recommendation is a Revo remap; ESP Off and Sport Setting on suspension - enjoy!! :vibes:

Yes I must admit wheel spin can be a problem especially if it is slighly damp on the road. The Rocco R is to have XDS traction control as per the MK 6 Golf GTi. Don't know how well this performs?
