0-60 Times?

Just been out testing my car and the best I got was 6.2s 0-60. Which smashes the 6.9s VW say It does! Obviously there will be a slight difference as theirs is 0-62 and mine 0-60, but still!
I've got a 2011 2.0 tsi with no performance mods other than a pipercross air filter (doubt it does anything)
I did it with launch control and manual shifting
I used the torque pro app, it's only a couple of quid
Just wondering if anyone else has tested theirs and what sort of times they got!?

It is widely regarded that VW understate most of their 0-60 times for better insurance grouping (although not conclusively proven). My 2.0tdi 140 is much faster than the 9 seconds it claims even if you time it to 65, it's more like 7.8s. My 122tsi before that also the same. It is also thought that most VW engines are more efficient than the official figures and will make more bhp than what it should.

My last 2 cars were both similar outputs but naturally aspirated - an fn2 civic type r (6.9 secs 0-60) and a gt86 (7.5 secs).
Both were 2.0 litres and 200bhp.
I can confirm my 2.0 tsi is a lot quicker and i wouldn't be at all surprised if it clocked in the low 6's!

I have managed 6.4 on a slight hill before using odb2 readouts with torque pro,
If i could only get the power down as slight acceleration from first with a stage 1 lights the tyres up I would be running in the mid-hight 5's I would of thought.
I do have some crappy falken's with 3mm of tread left though!
