Standard light in R bumper, will they fit?

I have just bought a 2010 gttdi which has had the full R kit fitted, light also, but they don't work as they should, so until I can find someone or some way to sort this, I was wondering Will standard lights from a 2.0l gt tdi fit in a scirocco R bumper just so I have a road legal car that is safe, thanks in advance
