Scirocco Central

Hello guys, got myself a blue VW scirocco recently and just wanted to buy a machine polish, one that I won't damage the car with being a noob at it. Any recommendations? Also I have no idea with all the discs and whatnot.
Also any detailing tips? I've got the turtlewax gloss (something) wax. Any specific wax I should look to buy for the blue ?

I got into detailing about two years ago. Started with a DAS6 PRO. If you watch enough videos and get the idea you really can't go wrong if it is the light blue it comes up awesome after a detail too. Did my mates lupo not too long ago for stanced UK. Hey! It can be a curse once you get into detailing.. so be warned I'd suggest a full decontamination first.. then polishing with a DA and apply a good wax to seal it

The U.K. Version of the Porter Cable is the Das6 Pro - pretty easy to use
Like everything else in life it's best to research and understand what your getting into but a hex logic orange pad with Megs 105 and a hex logic white pad with Megs 205 will get you properly started

Ive used one for years, its almost impossible to go wrong with it!

use this guide from detailing world and you cannot go wrong.

a DA (Dual Action) polisher is a good starter polisher as its much safer than a rotary which can burn through the paint very quick.
