Hi there

We are waiting for our Rocco but want to know what lights up and when with Xenons fitted....
Ive read a few threads but im even more comfused now.

Which lens are the xenons
Which unit is the DRL
Which lens is the full beam
Were are the indictors

A bit quick and dirty but you get the idea................. click to enlarge. I would take photos of all the combos but i can't seem to find a mode on my camera that's suitable.

Thats exactly the info I was after.....thanks for the effort.....

What bulbs are the DRLs and side lights...?? Im not a fan of having nice xenon lights next to yellow halogen lights....hoping ill be able to get something better looking for the DRLs...

To be able to do that, the headlight units better not be like they are on the Passat - unreachable unless you take 90% (some exaggeration may occur) of the car apart!
I'm hoping I can get to the DRLs too and fit something like the Philips X-Treme or similar that give a whiter light.

The (Xenon) DRL bulbs look like a rear brake light bulb, not sure what type that is but I want to change them to a brighter one.

According to the manual the Xenon DRL bulb is a P21W - so as you suspect it is the same as the rear light bulbs (tail, stop and fog all use this bulb). I think you can get a higher output version - try googling for it.
