iPhone 6S

Post by wilko154 »

So I've just bought my first Scirocco, 2009 plate... but not sure about how to connect my iPhone 6S to the headunit...

Can anyone confirm if I need to buy an MDI to lightning cable? Or if I need to get an adaptor to plug into the 30-pin plug I have, so 30-pin to lightning?

Help would be appreciated :)

You could buy a £3 aux cable & do it that way my friend [emoji1303] just bought the wife a new cable for her car off eBay. I use Bluetooth to stream in my car

There's a few threads I've commented in about this. Have a search, loads of info on here.

In short, buy the VW 30 pin to Mdi adapter, and get a genuine Apple lightning to 30 pin converter.

Gives you control, names etc
