Hi everyone , I seem to be changing tyres every year on the front , and before people presume I don't drive like some idiots out there !!!

Have tried Pirelli and Bridgestone , can anyone suggest a harder wearing brand or specific tyre ??

Many thanks in advance

What psi do you usually run with on the fronts, and how are your tyres wearing, ie centre wear pattern or outside edges etc?

High annual mileage?

Michelins tend to be the ones that last the longest however you do pay for the privilege. Try the new PS4.

Vredestein Ultrac Vorti's, excellent tyre well priced and currently got 19k from hard driving on the fronts and went through north of Scotland winter with no problem despite being around 3.5 MM. since December.
Oponeo will be cheapest with quick delivery service from DPD.
All four tyres have been on the car since June 2014 and can't fault them TBH.
Rears still loads of tread and fully expect another 10k from them hopefully.

It tends to be the harder wearing the lower the grip.

Having said that I'm currently running Vredstein Ultrac Vorti as the member above. I've done around 7k on them at the moment and there's still a lot if life in them. I got mine from tyres pneus online as they were cheapest at the time.

I honestly don't think I've ever got more that 12k or so out of a tyre on the front of a car and have got as little 150 miles though that was I'm used on track.

I've just fitted Barums (made my continental) on mine. They're not hard side walled tyre, more of a medium but at £80 a corner for 235/35/19, they seem really good value for money. I had them on my previous a3 and a lot of friends/family have them and they're great value for money.

finding goodyear eagle f1 asymmetrics wear really well. I used the Asymmetrics 2 for 10,000 miles before rotating and they still had decent tread left.

They're on the third asymmetric generation now
