I built my MKV car few years ago and while I was continue adding more and more stuff to it I was looking for a Rocco to swap to it.
I found a very nice 2011 Rocco White/Black 1.4TSI with a damaged engine because of pistons, and it was parked for a while in the agency warehouse, so it looks like I found my target.
This is my MKV build thread if you wanna have a look

I have some requests to have it in the car.
Dynaudio, OEM front parking sensor, 220 power output socket, tire pressure switch, etc...

Continue interior installation

The interior installation went successfully yesterday but I don't have pics of it yet.
The car will move today/tomorrow for painting, I will go for "Oryx -Weiss with Pearl Effect (L0K1)" which the color I really love it.
The paining process is expected to take around 15 days, and after that I will drive the car for a while then the engine modifications and some parts movement from the MKV to the Rocco will start
Wish me luck because I think I will need it and more than that too!

Wow what a great start! Gonna be keeping a close eye on this - are you doing the exterior R kit too?

Keep a close eye on it and wait until the modifications part start
I will do the R Front and Rear pumpers only, I like the side look of the Rocco than the R one.

Got to appreciate this. Not an easy job to swap the engine.

Let me say that swapping the engine is the easiest thing here in my country, most of VAG group cars (1.4 or 1.6) here swapping to 2.0T FSI or TSI if they have an engine damage or major problem, the cost is almost the same of swapping engine or having another 1.4 or 1.6 engine.
Also, we have professional workshops here doing this swap.

Where do you live?
And how much is an engine swap cost?

I live in Cairo, Egypt.
The engine swap cost around $4.5k / $5k; it depends on what you want to swap and if the swapped engine is low kilometers or not, etc.
P.S: the cost is for 2.0T FSI or TSI

The roof still pending and I am not expecting to complete the process before 2 weeks!
I found that the front pumper must be replaced as there are lots of cracks inside it, and I don't wanna go for the R style as I like having fog lights & DRL not only DRL.
I want to go for Scirocco rear diffuser conversion to r style, but I couldn't find yet a rubber one on the internet.

Looking for a Hatch Pop Kit for the Rocco, any ideas?
I have it on my MKV and here is the link for it:
https://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Go ... ES1895197/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Here is the MK6 link:
https://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Go ... ES2083320/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have the MKV one and it works fine, I wanna have it in the Rocco too.

Both ECS Kits contains:
- MKV/MKVI Gas Spring (Strut) Assembly - S
- Zinc Plated Steel Washer - 11/32" ID, 11
- M8 Ball Stud
And only MKV kit contains:
- Hatch Stop Bumper (European VW version).
The only option I have it now is to uninstall the kit from my MKV and try to see if it will fit in the Rocco or not.

The only thing I didn't decide yet is the Wheels!!
I am looking for 18 inch with the following features:
18"x8.5"
Offset: 35mm
Center Bore: 57.1mm
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
I need the Center Bore to be 57.1mm not 66.6mm and converted to 57.1mm using Hub Centric Rings.
The VMR v710 is my first option, but I am looking for something unique and support big brakes!
All thoughts are welcome
