I bought these lights online i thought it would be easy to fit but apparently no...
I took it to a couple places they said they could fit it but the daytime running lights wont work because they dont know where to put the cables for it lol.
Finally i took it to one place they said they could do it but for the DRL to work i would need to switch on the side lights or something among those lines also they will charge me £330 for the job and it will take a couple hours (6-8 hours)
Has anyone had these put on?

What leds are you talking about.
Do you mean a complete new sidelight unit.
Post pictures of the units front and back and we can go from there. Other wise it's guessing work and like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Looks simply like plug & play, but there's no DRL function as such. The DRL leds replace the sidelight bulbs so just turn the sidelights on and you have lights that look like DRLs. Obviously, not ideal because if you have auto lights then you won't be able to use the auto function as the lights will need to be on sidelight for your DRLs. All a bit poor really, but it does say that in the advert on the website.

On the picture on the website it doesnt show the other cables that it has
It has like two small wires that need to go into somewhere

With vcds you can set the sidelights to act as drl.
In module 09 check the bit drl by seperate lights active and it will work.

Have you asked the sellers? They say they offer installation advice.

I got these headlights earlier this week (not fitted yet!). Was also looking at the 2 random cables. Let me know if you find out what they are for!

Not sure what to do if they dont work. Thats the main reason i bought them.
Might just return them then. Not spending 300 odd to get them to work
