Rising Blue 2.0 TSI

Post by pennpromo »

Hello All,
I have just brought a Rising Blue 2.0 TSI manual.
Only had two owners but high mileage at about 127,000.
Did 110,000 in the first two and a half years.
Any tips on high mileages, anything that I should do ?
She has black leather in really nice condition, RNS 510 satnav, multi function wheel, auto lights and wipers, 18" black wheels,
She also has a bluetooth phone unit in the headlining. What is this known as it looks like factory fit ?
Looks like I had option 8AY ...
Is there a manual around that is downloadable ?
She has also had some damage on the offside rear panel and the paint match is not brilliant, but will be done properly now.
Overall very pleased; just thinking Bluefin; any downsides with such a high mileage?
Many thanks in advance.

Better off with a Revo map than a Bluefin, bluefin are not very good really.

Thank you Xjay,
I will have a think about that.
Quite liked the Bluefin idea as its switchable back to standard and allowing for reprogramming costs you always have the handset.
I do appreciate that its not going to necessarily give the ultimate tune though.
Hopefully please see picture below.
You can see the slightly faded rear wing.

Xjay,
I took the plunge and ordered a Bluefin from Demon Tweeks with a free K&N filter for £359 delivered inc VAT on Monday.
Arrived today, fitted the filter, did the upload from car, ran the windows program, uploaded to Superchips.
Text arrived in two minutes, uploaded to car. Whole process took maybe 40 minutes.
Well I have to say that I am impressed so far: I appreciate that it may not be the smoothest, most powerful map, but its a terrific improvement on first test.
Now thinking of a change of wheels !
