Scirocco fuel injector part number, possible upgrade?

Hay people. As a couple of you know I'm currently running two wonky fuel injectors. They work but the solenoids are on their way out and as such are bring up a warning light.

I've been to VW and they want £1,000 to fit two new ones. I'm more that comfortable to fit them myself with my uncle (mechanic by trade). But I can't find the part number for them anywhere.

As I'm down two, I'm also tempted to just upgrade all of them at the same time.

What you guys think? Codes, links and prices would be amazing :)

Cheers in advance.

For CBFA, CCTA and CCZB engines, the latest revision injector is:

06H 906 036 P

This superseded 06H906036G at end of 2014.

Also i highly advise against getting refurbished / ultrasonically cleaned injectors - i had a bad experience with ultrasonic cleaning and reading up on it, certain direct injection high pressure valves such as these can have their coils damaged when submersed in ultrasonic cleaning machines and repetitively fired (common practice in modern ultrasonic cleaning services).

OMG didn't even put the engine etc haha. The car is a 58 plate scirocco GT TSI :) I don't mind forking out for new parts, just can't justify the labour costs.

PS think it is worth while uprating them? I'll probably only be adding an induction kit and exhaust too :) then a remap.

I feel the same about labour costs. Should only be two hours labour so don't know where VW came up with £1000!!!

Absolutely no point in getting larger injectors unless you're going to spends thousands modding the nuts off it. Total waste of time and money.

Cheers :D looks like 2 new standard injectors and install kit then. I'll put the money towards a exhaust, induction and remap combo.

Hay people. Managed to find the injectors for £50 a pop (big difference from £300 a pop my garage quoted) only problem is they don't come with it the seal kit. Where is the best place get everything else I need?

you can get the seals from TPS.

BTW the standard injectors can flow up to 400bhp so standard ones are what you need/needed

Yeah, not searching now. Just replacing standards and taking it to stage 2. You got a link as I've searched their site with no joy?

Even put the part number in?
