Rattle on passenger door

Post by Astonbarlow »

Hi all,

Had my scirocco about a month now. It's a 63 plate one. I've noticed a rattle on the passenger door and it's driving me crazy! Had a look over it and in the glovebox and nothing noticeable. I was wondering if any of you had the same issue and if there is an easy fix. It seems to happen at different times and sometimes I can drive for an hour without it happening! It's not a case of loose items as I've removed everything! If anyone has any ideas would appreciate it.

Cheers all!

I had a constant rattle on the passenger side when I am doing 50-60mph on a relatively smooth carriageway. Found out it was the passenger seat. I moved it back and forth a few times and managed to stop the rattle at the end.

It prob isn't what you've got but thought I will share it anyway. Hope u get it sorted. Let us know!

I hate rattle and any strange noise! :grumpy:

Loose grab handle, got the same issue here. I'll have it sorted when some new speakers go in.

Yeah think it's the handle. Noticed it creeks and can be pushed into place. Wondering whether to replace/ glue it somehow. Driving me crazy when driving! Sadly someone has smashed the side of my car, so got bigger priorities to sort, needs all the rear quarter smoothing out and a full respray :( and the front wheel arch as well!
