Scirocco Central

Hi all,

My Scirocco has heated fabric seats. The passenger side works perfectly, but the driver side is intermittent. If I turn it on, it will get very warm very quickly, but then turns off. What's the best way to go about fixing this/does anyone have any idea how much VW might charge?

First thing I'd check for is a loose connection under the seat and on the switch maybe and/or any physical damage to seat itself, bottom line is a trip to the dealers won't be cheap so if nothing you can't diagnose or see yourself I'd try an independent garage and a recommended one as parts will probably be inexpensive but dealer labour rates criminal (imo).
