Hi! Time for my first post

So I'm about to buy a 2009 Scirocco 2.0 tsi, with manual gearbox, driven 110k KM.
It's been registered in late 03/2009 and it's with the CAWB engine, ecu tuned to 250hp

Factory options include DCC(/ACC), BI-Xenon with turning lights, navigation, tire pressure monitoring etc...

What should I check when buying the car, sounds, oil burning, VCDS-codes etc...

And every info about the ~09 rocco is welcome.

Pros/cons? Why to buy, or why not to buy.

Thanks!

Let's say worst case scenario that it was mapped soon after it was bought and has been "enjoyed" for over six years now, I'd be checking for engine components that have been under stress levels not intended by VW for 110000km

Something worth thinking about is the interior changes in late May 2009, steering wheel is much nicer and the MFD was changed to the better looking and more advanced highline version, which also allows for extra VCDS tweaks.

I wish I was aware of this before I bought my 09, but may be worth looking out for a 59 or even a 10 reg which will have these changes already.

In regards to the car though, sounds like it has a nice spec, bi-xenons are something I wish mine had :(

Sounds a big spec!

But as above, make sure you're aware of the steering wheel changes. It puts a lot of value onto the car, and makes the 59' hold onto their value quite well.

Damn, I'd like xenons in mind.
