Hello,

So I thought I would finally start a build thread after being on here for a while, more to keep track of how it will change.

I looked for ages for the right Scirocco and I travelled 3 and a half hours to get mine, when I first drove it, I knew I had made the right decision and fell in love straight away!

I haven't done much yet, but with the winter approaching, I have a few plans to come!

A few things will be:
Black VW badges - ordered and waiting for delivery!
APR Stage 1 Re-Map
Refurbish and spray wheels either Grey or black, can't decide yet.

This is him after the long journey home!

I finally got my paperwork back to put my private plates on

Next I took the car to AMD and got him lowered on Eibach Sportlines, I think this has made a huge difference to the look and the handling! I'm still not 100% happy with how high he sits at the back but I'm just being picky. I plan to eventually get some coilovers.

Then added my splitter! In love with this! Oh and found an old school jumper that matched the car

More updates to follow soon!

Thanks :)

The first part stands for my surname and last part are the first three letters of my name!

I am a fan of subtle mods. The splitter works and I think the car height looks good .

Nice car as mentioned before! - I've got gloss black wheels to go with the blue, you tempted for black mirror caps?

Yeah I am tempted - I saw a set of gloss black mirrors on eBay and nearly brought them so it could be a simple swap and change them back to blue if needed.

Take the plunge! Mind you be careful of the clips if you change the caps as they're very fragile!
In regards to the lowering I'm on H&R, they're OK but very bumpy.. I'm going to swap them for KW's at some point.

The Eibach's are the same ones VWR use, they're a nice ride a friend of mine has them on his R.

Nice progress! 8)

Hi Alaina,

I have the 2.0 TSi and also considering lowering. How are you finding the ride height on the Eibach Sportlines? Are you having any problems with getting over speed humps, ramps etc? Also, has it reduced the wheelspin under hard acceleration? Mine has had a Revo Stage 1 and wheelspins badly if you just plant your foot.

Thanks!
