Bought some lamin-x headlight protection (although I was more interested in the look hehe).

It looks darker in the photos, and is only a 10%, so light wont be affected etc, and its legal. I guess its nice cos it will actually protect the stuff. Suits teh car IMO cos of the black and white contrast once again. Pimping.

I bought the some sheets and had the installer custom cut it, chose the gun smoke tint

very nice, may not suit all car colours but the contrast against the white paintwork it looks great IMO.

ps did you do the rears?

Im considering it - but I dont think ill go too dark though, might decide after ive installed the H&Rs.

Like it - has something of a Knight Rider look it. Mind you though that silver VW badge has gotta go - you've gotta paint it black now to finish off the act.
Did you go for the Gunsmoke front lens covers then ?

how much light does it let through the headlights?
i was watching police interceptors and they said this was very illegal and you will be pulled over and made to take the film off...
although it does look awesome!
