Deposit down on Scirocco R today

Unfortunately not mine :shake: my son has decided to switch from his beloved MK4 Golf R32 & secured a rather nice privately owned 10 plate this afternoon

Nice choice, although he'll miss the sound of the V6 and the traction too.

He's a Vdub guy through & through , this rocco will be his 7th & he's only 23
Mk5 Gti, Mk4 Golf Anniversary + various Polo & Lupo Gtis plus his very first motor , a 1.0 Lupo :nod:

Yeah he is on there , the car was on the R32OC stand at the Wetherby show not long back
Been a great car & I think he'l miss it .
Will also find it hard to replace if he wants to go back but he's driven the R & was impressed enough to throw his money down
Just need to get a TSI DSG sorted for his mother & itl be a pair of Roccos on the drive :clap:

Certainly holding its money at over £6k for a 12 year old car with over 100k on the clock.

Planning on buying a second car once my tdi Rock arrives, at odds and ends whether to go for a mk4 R32 or anniversary GTI.

I think the anniversary has lasting appeal and will become a sought after classic. They've already risen considerably in price since I last looked at getting one (and now I wish I had).
