got a 2011 tdi rocco 4 weeks ago and the clutch pedal has an annoying vibration which happens only when pressing lightly or fully down (not in between) sounds and feels like a grinding, I've took it to the garage and they say its probably not the dmf or clutch failing its just how they are, I have 5 months warranty left and want to ensure I use it if anything needs addressing, it drives ok most the time sometimes feels like a bumpy ride but I'm putting that down to low profile wheels, (I'm not used to) bad roads and cold engine as most the time its ok. I do have a habit of stalling it though and ive not stalled a car in years (not much give in the accelerator pedal theres either to much power or not enough its sometimes hard to find a happy medium) maybe I just need to get used to it.
any advice on the vibration thing appreciated

Re: clutch pedal vibration
I have had 3 cars 140 GT 18" 45 tyres 150 GT and 150 R Line both 19" 35 tyres and all owned from brand new and with ACC set in comfort mode.
The GT's were perfect the R Line vibrated so badly all the interior shook loose and fell apart, the windows went up and down on their own, clutch peddle would vibrate and occasionally pulse up and down under your foot, after 7 months VW paid the early settlement on the contract lease (Company Car) and took it back.
it was 12 weeks in the garage in 7 months and they never resolved the problem.
I have been told all the R lines Vibrate as the are so stiff on the suspension but I think the vibration was mostly clutch / flywheel related.
I'v been in engineering and rotating machinery for 35 years so have a good amount of experience in these issues but VW or there dealers would not listen to what I had to say. An independent vehicle assessor inspected and drove the car for 1000 miles and was glad to return it back agreeing that the vibration was as I had thought from the fly wheel clutch.
It would be good to get some good honest response as to vibration issues from other members.
