Right so the time has come for me to do a build thread!

I've owned the car for just under a year and loved every minute of it, going from a 1.2 "Limited Edition" Corsa to this was a BIG step in terms of performance and quality!

Stay tuned....

This was as I picked the car up from the gagarage, drove 4 hours to Stoke-on-Trent and arrived at 19:30, it was well worth it though!

So after owning the car for a month or so I decided to get the car lowered, it's lowered on H&R 35mm and it definitely sites and handles a lot better than the previous stock springs!

After having it lowered and back home I decided to give it a full detail, clay, polish and wax.. DoDo Juice Purple Haze used and it came out amazing!

After having the car lowered I decided to get some new rims, I wanted some wider with a more aggressive offset.. I decided to purchase BBS CK 19" 8.5j all around with an 35ET. They sit nicely on the car and fill the arches better than there predecessors!

Next step was an induction kit, I'd been contemplating between a closed system or open cone and decided to go for the Forge TwinTake, installation was relatively easy and it sits in the engine bay nicely!

Loving the TwinTake, it's not too noisy and it acceleration seems more responsive, much better than the previous Pipercross panel filter I had fitted. I do have plans to get a TTS engine cover and gas struts but I'm still toying with the idea..

On another note I installed some gloss black badges to match the rest of the theme!

Couple of weeks ago I installed a new diffuser to the rear, not to everyone's taste but it really does make the rear look meaner! Toying with the idea for a cup spoiler but I'm waiting to see one in the flesh on a rising blue Scirocco..

Detailing photo before JoJoReynolds got rid of his diesel and got an R.. PhilJay92 compounded the side of my car as a caravan driver forced me into a huge hedge on a country road, horrible lines in the paintwork afterwards but it's all spot on now!

Last weekend my friend Mike popped over and we had a detailing session... hard labor by me he just stood and looked!
This is the individual responsible for me getting the Scirocco so I owed him a favour as he drove to Amsterdam and back in his!

You can almost be forgiven for owning a Corsa by creating this awesome machine. Good work, and superb detailing.
