Wasn't sure whether to do a build thread but I've done a little bit to my rocco so thought i'd give it ago..... so here is my 2010 black scirocco 170 tdi dsg when I picked it up it had only done 26,000 miles

So once i got it home and had nice weather it got a good clean

next to be done was what was going to be last which was a set of wheels
Image
Image

Hated the look of how high it sat so H&R lowering springs were bought
Image
Much better
Quick clean came next
Image

I then put spacers on 12mm at the front and 15mm at the rear

Cool. Do you live in Derby? Wouldn't mind picking your brains about your H&R springs. Where did you get them from and where did you get them fitted?

No I don't I live in Newcastle so only 30 mins away. As for the H&R springs I got them from PSI Tuning and had then fitted at a local garage that my mums fella owns. There is no difference in ride quality between them and stock.

Not really updated this at all, so since my last post some builder decided to not strap his ladders down correctly and this happened,
Image

the ladders were that jammed under that the recovery guy had to winch them out leaving this
Image
Image

When it got dropped off at the garage I chose the damaged was assessed.

So I needed: Intercooler, radiator, new bumper and all the plastic trim to go with it, boost pipe as it had a hole in it, and the wheel arches for both sides.

Police did nothing and I didn't want to go through my insurance 'cause I knew it would cost more in the long run in renewals.

After 2 weeks I got the car back all fixed since getting it back I've removed the rear wiper put it on coilovers and had the rear lights tinted.
Image

coilovers fitted
Image

Gave it a good clean
Image
Image

Wiper removed
Image

And last thing to be done rear lights tint
Image
Image

Next up is to have all the plastic trim sprayed black to blend it with the rest of the car, front splitter and to lightly tint the front lights. Also I'm after these wheels as well.

I've been that guy that had the ladders fly off a vehicle.

Had them strapped to the roof bars of a navara, one bar snapped which ripped off the other one and sent the zarges flying. Luckily no-one was injured and no vehicles (apart from the navara) damaged.
