Scirocco Central

I have ownned my 160 dsg salsa red Scirocco since 20/3/2009.
The car came in sport pack and alarm from the factory.
It remained standard for about a week. First was the footrest and K&N filter panel in box and then the battery cover and door sills.
Some time later it was time for "smile" to be colour coded and rear difussier to become matte black (same as badges). Next mod sent logos away and handmade exhaust tips came.
About a year ago, ECU remapped by TMG and cat-back with only one box exhaust took standard's place and cc.
Front indicators tinted and rear lights half tinted.
Next to come, was an Eibach Pro-kit lowering spring set (25mm all round) and Leon Cupra R mk1 front splitter under front bumper. Car was now ready for 19s Lugano and 235/35 rubber. Latest thing that came to car was front window tinting.





Hope next will be big brakes.

I recently had the tyres chamged to Cooper Zeon CS Sport.

First impression is positive.
Extremely high value for money factor.

Nice Scirocco, I really like the grill mod and splitter.

Nice car, tasteful mods! Not sure on the extra black paint/wrap either side of the front reg plate though.

Those luganos in black would finish that off nicely

I 've been thinking about black luganos but I prefer them silver. They look amazing at night when black ones would just disappear.

Hi there, nice looking rocco thats for sure . Can u please share some figures about your remap? Did you make any changes to the engine? How is reliability, any missfire issues? Is it stable under full load? Thank you .

Hi all and thanks.
First, the CupraR splitter is a bit tricky. You have to cut the middle mountings and then fix it under bumper with screws. Don't forget hot air device to make it easy to change the radius to fit the bumper.
Second is remap. No problem at all with it. The only changes are full exhaust system (63.5mm diameter and cat) and NGK bkr7eix spark plugs.
Now looking for intercooler (S3 tfsi 8p)

looks nice in red

26mm wider per axle.

Beautiful car, your windows look also tinted. Great contrast the black with red.

Yes, I'm on a 100cpi cat.

The blacked 'dust lip' on the back seems to be perfected. I first thought it was an R rear bumper great job.

Btw where did you get the front splitter?
